DISNEYLAND

This article, "Disneyland", is about the theme park dedicated to Walt Disney and it is the dream for all children. In the end of this construction, in California, on July 17th, 1995, about 28,000 people went to Disneyland's opening day, but it was a total disaster. In fact, it was very hot and the street surface wasn't dry, for this it stuck to people's shoes! The drinking fountains weren't working and there wasn't enough food for everyone. After Disneyland's opening day many people thought that Disneyland would be a failure, but they were very wrong, in fact, more than 650 million people have visited the park since then. Now, Disneyland is called Disneyland Park and is part of Disneyland Resort. The resort also has a second theme park, called Disneyland California Adventure, three hotels and an area known as Downtown Disney which has shops, restaurants and a cinema.
