HISTORY OF HALLOWEEN
HALLOWEEN is a festival of pagan origin celebrated on October, 31th. The name "Halloween" derives from the sentence "All Hallows Eve", that means the night of All Saints' Day, a Western Christian. It's believed that this night is dedicated to remember the dead, saints, martyrs and all the departed. The history of Halloween is Celtic and Irish, in fact, the Celtics were a population of shepherds and for them on October 31th was the end of summer. For this, typical colors of this festivity are the orange to remember the reaping an the end of the summer; and the black, to remember the dark in the winter.
