My favorite celebrity is Angelina Jolie. She is an american actress and she was born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles. Her mother chose as second name "Jolie" that means pretty in French. As child, she often watched films with her mother and it was this that inspired her interest in acting. Already at the age of five she had a bit part in a film. She had found films that appeled to wide audience, but the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider made her an international superstar. During the shooting made in Cambogia, she found out the humanitarium crisis and she saw the conditions of misery and poverty of this country. From this moment, she promotes various causes, including conservation, education and women's rights.
