BIO CUBE

The character of my cube is Martin Luther King. He was born on January 15th, 1929, in Atlanta, and he was defined "Untiring apostle of not violent resistance". Martin Luther King has been important because he was against the differences between black and white people, and he fought so that it was dejected in America every type of ethnic prejudice. One of his obstacles is to have been accused of driving the association that he created, in a dictatorial way.

DESCRIBE A PICTURE

In this picture I can see two people that are sitting on a sofa. On the right there is a girl, with curly hair, and she's wearing a violet t-shirt with a jeans; and on the left there is a boy with a striped shirt and a jeans. The guy is playing with the playstation and he is very happy, but the girl is really bored. Probably they're engaged and maybe the girl is thinking about leaving him, because he isn't considered her. In the background I can see the wall of a house and a black table on it there's a vase of flowers. 

THE ORIGIN OF SANTA CLAUS

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, or simply Santa, is a legendary figure of Western Christian culture who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on Christmas Eve (24 December) and the early morning hours of Christmas Day (25 December).

Santa Claus is generally depicted as a portly(corpulento), joyous(gioioso), white-bearded man(uomo con la barba bianca),spectacles. He wears a red coat(cappotto rosso) with white fur collar(colletto di pelliccia bianco) and cuffs(polsini), red trousers(pantaloni rossi), and black leather belt(cintura in pelle nera) and boots(stivali) and who carries a bag full of gifts for children. 

This image became popular in the United States and Canada in the 19th century and it has been maintained and reinforced through song, radio, television, children's books, films, and advertising.

Santa Claus is said to make lists of children throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior ("good" and "bad", or "naughty" and "nice") and to deliver presents, including toys, and candy to all of the well-behaved children in the world, and coal(carbone) to all the misbehaved children, on the single night of Christmas Eve.

The history of Santa Claus comes from a historical character: St. Nicola of Myra (Turkey). Is said that he found and he brought in life five little boys abducted and killed by an innkeeper, and that for this it was considered the Protector of the babies.

JOHN LEWIS CHRISTMAS ADVERT 2016

This story tells about a little girl. The night before Christmas she is jumping on her bed, while her dog is watching her. In the evening her dad builds in the garden a trampoline for his daughter. When he finishes working, during the night, some foxes and other animals jump on a trampoline and at the same time the dog watches animals and it becomes very jealous. On Christmas morning, the child runs to her gift and while she goes to trampoline her dog starts jumping up and the family was very surprise.

BUY NOTHING DAY

Buy Nothing Day or Black Friday is the day after Thanks Giving Day in the United States and it is an international holiday of protest against consumerism, but it gives start at Christmas shopping.

THANKSGIVING DAY

"Thanksgiving Day" is an American holiday celebrated in the United States on fourth Thursday of November every year. This festivity has Christian religious to give thanks to God for the harvest. Most important event of this festivity is the Thanksgiving dinner, where it's traditional to eat turkey. When Thanksgiving Day finishes, stores fill their shelves with Christmas good.
